Head of Electricity Transmission & Distribution

Primary Responsibility:

Your role will be to lead all aspects of delivery for electricity transmission and distribution projects through concept design, detailed design, construction support, commissioning and handover, satisfying the Customer and achieving or improving upon set objectives of time, cost and specification, ensuring adherence to the Client and Company requirements and the Company’s policies and processes.

Experience

• You will have proven experience in the transmission and distribution of electricity, including projects involving the design, installation and commissioning of substations, with a demonstrable track record of delivering results, managing people, project finances and reporting of progress.
• You will have a working knowledge of HAZID, HAZOP and Process Safety.
• You will be able to demonstrate project management competency.
• Demonstrable excellent communication skills are a pre-requisite. The ability to communicate at all levels is required as is the ability to present project strategy and complex project issues in a simple, clear and concise manner. All of which are essential in developing Client Relationships as well as managing successful projects.

Other Essential Functions:

You will maintain the highest Health, Safety and Environmental Standards in all project activities.
