Our client is a young and dynamic leading UK renewable energy business, mainly working within Wind Projects across the globe. They are looking to expand and improve their financial and project analysis skills by recruiting a specialist in this field.
The role is varied and will allow the individual to be involved in front-line project analysis and support of both a financial and a non-financial nature, including:
· Working with the Project Managers and Developers to provide financial appraisals of new and existing projects in the UK and across North America.
· Working with the Project Managers and Developers to provide general project support on new and existing projects in the UK and across North America.
· Supporting senior management, in particular the Finance Director, with project financing, project
· Divestment and tender support initiatives.
· Assisting in contract negotiations.
· Responsibility for a detailed understanding of electricity markets, their functioning and pricing.
You will have:
· Awareness of renewable energy policies and complexities of developing wind sites
· Problem solving ability
· Project Finance, equity & debt structures
· Evaluate and control existing financial models
· Develop new financial models
· Due Diligence expertise
