Senior EPC Proposals Manager - Power Plants

(UK Vacancy, £65K - £80K + Benefits)
An exciting opportunity now exists within a rapidly growing new business unit that focuses on new build, EPC based, power projects.

The role will be to support bids and projects across the client’s geographical remit and will involve some overseas travel.

Responsibilities will include;

• Defining the processes for clear communications to all parties involved in the proposal.
• Defining scope of work and agree deliverables with appropriate functions.
• Organising and prepare as appropriate outside enquiries required for estimating purposes and tender preparation.
• Preparing and update the Proposal Schedule against which all proposal deliverables are monitored and controlled.
• Optimising completion of deliverables for most cost effective proposals.
• Reporting on progress of proposals to senior management.
• Assisting with any pre-qualification requirements or RFI’s.
• Review proposal costs taking action to mitigate cost overruns.
• Participation and preparation of execution strategy together with the Manager, Proposals and other team members.
• Participation and preparation of risk management papers.
• Preparation of tender documentation for submittal to the Client.
• Preparing and participate in negotiation/questionnaire to support sales team.
• In the event of an order effect handover papers to the execution team.
• Participating and contribute to Sales meetings.
