Key Objectives

The Client requires a Senior individual to ensure that all procurement activities are carried out in a timely manner and within budgetary constraints thus supporting ongoing projects and other general Company requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Management, control & accountability of all group operational procurement matters
• Maintenance and development of team structure, performance and interaction in relation to the listed Operational Procurement services:
• Operational buying (project and non-project requirements)
• Procurement planning
• Supply chain management
• Personnel management, reporting, welfare and development of procurement personnel
• Development, management and implementation of operational procurement policies, procedures and processes
• Team development & growth

Financial Responsibility:
• Procurement element of the OSG Budget
• Supplier monitoring & performance
• Project re-charge
• Cost planning support & advice

The post holder is responsible for the quality of their own work.
The post holder is legally responsible for their own health and safety and the health and safety of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions.

Skills & Experience
• Previous extensive Procurement experience across a number of industry sectors.
• Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Robust negotiation skills
• Experience in Team Management
• CIPS qualified (preferable)
