Our client is seeking a senior Supply Chain Manager from a Wind industry background.
Responsibilities:
• Assessment and creation of Product development Supply Chain for Wind Power Generation Development
• Development and implementation of Framework Agreements and template contracts for major purchases
• Managing Supply Chain performance and managing any non-performance
• Ensuring smooth integration of cross functional processes and controls
• Risk management.
• Analysing expenditure and developing commodity strategies to ensure best value
• Working collaboratively with Product development Team members, designing procurement & supply chain strategy, policy & process.
• Developing & managing key stakeholder relationships within the business at senior level
• Creating & championing a culture of continuous improvement
• Managing strategic & operational delivery.
Experience:
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, cost analysis, and risk management on Product Development in a Electro–Mechanical machinery and equipment environment
• Significant commercial acumen and contractual experience, thorough understanding of codes, governing regulations and industry best practices.
• Extensive understanding of rotating machinery and drive trains.
• Competence in product engineering fabrication and assembly
Minimum Qualifications:
HNC / HND or Relevant Engineering or Business Degree

MCIPS
